Warhawk Server Cluster

When you want a server room to power the PS3′s biggest online multiplayer game, you’re gonna need the computing power to do it, and what better advert for Sony’s console than to do that job with actual PS3 consoles?

Sony’s official blog quite proudly shows off the dedicated server cluster they’ve built for ranked matches.

Of course, Warhawk lets you use your own PS3 as a dedicated server too, with Sony aiming to have a worldwide net of servers running constantly so that lag becomes a thing of the past, but clearly aren’t shirking on official server power too! Sony servers will be blue on the list in-game, so you can easily identify them.

The wait for Warhawk gets ever more painful…
