Wipeout HD Teams Revealed

Sony’s Studio Liverpool is hard at work on Wipeout HD, which will launch onto the European PSN sometime later this year. Whilst most of the game is based on Wipeout Pure (6 of the 8 tracks are from the PSP game) we do at least get one new team, EG-X, who will be appearing in the upcoming Wipeout Pulse for Sony’s portable machine.

Which means the teams are as follows:

• FEISAR
• Piranha
• AG Systems
• Triakis
• Goteki 45
• Assegai
• EG-X
• Qirex

Gamesradar also hint at downloadable content, so if they can pull anything like the Omega pack again we’ll be mightily impressed. Despite only knowing two of the tracks so far (Anulpha Pass and Chenghou Project) we’re sure that HD, online 60fps anti-grav racing is going to be a smash on the Network, and we can’t wait for more information.
