12Great thanks to Doctor No (from the NeoGAF boards) who has translated some of the Famitsu scans we posted yesterday. The biggest news is that the demo will only be available for 5 days – it’ll go up on the 20th of October, and will be taken down on the 24th, the day of the Tokyo Motor Show. This is apparently because the demo will have the prototype version of Nissan’s new R35, which will be officially unveiled at the TMS.
The rest of the details pertain to the full release of Prologue, not the demo. The game will feature two modes – GT Mode and Professional Mode, and these relate to the handling and physics of the game. Online play will support up to 16 players, and will feature chat after an online update patch.
The magazine says the deal with Top Gear is done and sealed, which is great news, and they’re hoping for the 24 hours Le Mans coverage too. New cars and courses will be available to download (on top of the ones on the disk/Store download) and the car manufactures will be able to release news, car specific, on the game itself via the Car Dealership section of the game.
GT 5 Prologue will also feature a photomode, and the photos can be shared online.
