12Still no official confirmation from SCEA, but pretty much all the major retailers across the States now have the new 40 GB PS3 SKU on their systems, with a release date of the 28th of October. Looks like it includes Spider-man 3 on Blu-ray for $399, which is an absolute steal – not just for gamers, but for anyone wanting a top of the range Blu-ray player too.
With the PS3 now outselling the 360 across Europe by 30,000 sales, we’re hoping this great news will help the PS3 in the US too.
