26Sony has opened it’s Playstation Store as of last night, and from there you can download demos, full games, PlayStation One games and all manner of movies and trailers, all for your PSP. You do need a download client that only runs on the PC if you want to download them away from your PSP, but it’s all possible directly on the handheld anyway in a similar fashion (My PSP on your bookmarks). It’s actually pretty awesome, you can grab Wipeout Pure for (a few) pounds, and it uses the same PSN ID you have for your PS3.
Naturally this new store will be updated along with the main PS3 store from now on, but it’s good to see titles like Go Puzzle for the PSP too, and Beats, which we assumed would be a Home thing, but now appears is a PSP music game. Good stuff.
