The US release of Pain appears to be missing a few (mainly online) features that were promised in the original press release, the text of which has now changed. The line claiming PAIN will have a robust online community feature set that will include: head-to- head and cooperative gameplay, leaderboards, the ability to upload and download user generated replays, and contests has been removed, leaving the $10 game with just one level, broken leaderboards and no online competitions. Hopefully these will be patched in soon enough, but there’s some angry PS3 owners across the pond with a less-than-perfect game in their hands. Pain still looks ace, though, and hopefully these additions will be in place for the PAL release.
