Valkyria Chronicles Coming To Europe

The gorgeous looking Senjô no Valkyrie is coming to Europe this Autumn, and will be titled Valkyria Chronicles, and will combine strategy elements of tactical role-playing games with real-time action sequences. All of this is played out in an innovative and beautiful visual style powered by the unique Canvas engine, which magically converts the 3D graphics into a stunning animated watercolour painting.

For strategy fans, Sega’s new BLiTZ mechanic gives the players the freedom to move around the environment and attack enemies using real-time controls for the first time in a tactical RPG. When asked why such a Japanese-oriented title is due to reach our shores, Gary Knight, European Marketing Director at SEGA Europe said ‘Valkyria Chronicles has been enthusiastically requested by European fans. The unique graphics and compelling gameplay are just two reasons why we’re delighted to bring it to them.’
