Socom Confrontation Release Date

The next in the SOCOM tactical third person shooter series has been set a release date. It’ll be released on 16th September, 2008 (that’s just under 6 months).

Also announced is that Socom will be available either to download via PSN or buy on Blu-Ray, like a few other games are doing lately – for example, GT5 Prologue and Warhawk both did this. Alongside the release of information, SOCOM.com has started updates to let us know how the game’s coming along, too.

With so many big games coming out, like Grand Theft Auto 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, aswell as GT5 Prologue tomorrow, we’ll have plenty to entertain us until SOCOM comes and blows us into pieces – here’s hoping we won’t be disappointed.
