Sony is planning a patch for release today to ease the online problems that we’ve all been facing with the PS3 version of GTA IV. Apparently the patch will fix the connectivity errors, but will not directly address the freezing and hanging bugs, something that Rockstar suggests you disconnect from PSN to get around.
Quite how you’ll get the patch without being connected to the Web is anyone’s guess.
