60We’re not usually one to start off a Monday with blatant conjecture, but when a blog claims to have ‘insider’ information then it’s probably too good to miss out on.
According to the WordPress blog, which doesn’t name it’s source for the information, firmware 2.40 should include the ability to access your XMB chat features from any game and will support 2D trophies from the XMB, with 70% of current titles supporting them from day one. In addition, the firmware will include groundwork coding for the movie store due later this year.
Naturally, the Trophy rumours were started elsewhere and Sony themselves have already said that 2.40 will include additional communication features, but we’ll see…
