So Konami screwed up the beta registration, we all know that, but you’d assume they’d learnt from their mistakes and fixed everything so that people could get the pre-orders in for the MGS 4 limited edition, right?

Well, not so much. In addition to an astonishing $500 (£250) refundable insurance surcharge, as of yesterday we’re not sure anyone had actually managed to pre-order the damned thing. At the time of writing the Konami store is down – people do actually want to buy and play your game, guys, sort it out!
