[...] However, what thrills me the most about gamers embracing this title at its scandalous price is what it could mean to the future of XBLA development. Up until now, XBLA has been a library of mostly forgettable games and ports punctuated by the occasional gem. What Microsoft has done with its oh-so-savvy “Summer of Arcade” marketing blitz is take what was easily its strongest month’s worth of titles so far and make a push to expand the service’s potential, perhaps in response to the highly-desirable lineup on the PSN.
All look good to me and I can't wait, Sony (& 3rd parties) really need to keep the volume of high quality PSN games coming through, cause theres not much exciting me on BD coming out for a while, Fifa '09 is next

It would be interesting to know what percentage of ps3 owners regularly use the PSN to download demo's, games etc...
Out of 4 of my friends that own a ps3, only I go online every Thursday to check out whats new and regularly download stuff

1 in 5 - 20% not all that good... those same friends know all about XBLA though

How do Sony engage these owners, if they don't even go online to see whats new? A huge source of revenue Sony is missing out having done the hard bit and got them to part with enough cash to buy a ps3 in the 1st place

Does anyone else think that Fat Princess looks a bit like Team Buddies on the ps1? I loved that game!

Eden looks excellent, I'm really looking forward to having more trophies to get, if it's half as good as monsters it'll be a classic.

humanfish, get Pain and Elefunk, absolutely worth the £5 each for a bit of casual gaming when you can't be bothered actually concentrating too hard.

I've just been looking at some stuff on 'The Last Guy', it looks like a quite a laugh. Although it is essentially snake off of my old nokia.
I haven't bought any psn titles as yet, i just have no need for them, but there are a few in the pipeline maybe worthy of my hard earned currency.
