Well, Kamiboy will be happy, as the PS3 will get an exclusive playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII, which will be bundled with a Blu-ray version of FFVII Advent Children Complete, alongside trailers for Versus and Agito (PSP version of FFXIII). In terms of new footage for XIII, there was some actual gameplay shown, but was just Lightning running around a test field area, no battles shown.
Anyone concerned that Versus will be heading the way of the Xbox should note that its trailer said “PlayStation 3 only Worldwide”, presumably meaning it’s still exclusive. At least for now, right?
It was a private party, so trailers are thin on the ground. Also, don’t believe everything you read today, apparently that’s it, no more news.

I am happy if it is not a Japanese only demo. I’ll be getting the advent children blu-ray regardless of course. Anywaste, anyone else worried about huge delays when Square Enix said they would release FFXIII in Japan and then would localize and port to that other system at the same time.
Me thinks a huge wait is going to be forthcomming between the Japanese PS3 exclusive release of FFXIII and the release of the localised and ported version.
