A community moderator over at the European Playstation forums has just confirmed that tomorrow’s PSN store update will also revamp the Store layout, adding a Search By A-Z option (no, not a traditional search engine mind you). This will no doubt come in handy, since it’s been available on the US store for ages.

Well it’s always good to see developments on the European side of things but why did it take so long compared to the US Store? I’m also wondering when they’ll fix the blatantly stupid categories in the European Store.

That’s handy. Yea, I agree with proog. The US Store seems to make more sense category-wise.

Nice addition…but I don’t understand why Europe gets things so much later than the US

I can see why there maybe a slight delay if a game has to be translated or something like that. But I see no other real reason for US to UK differences – I don’t see why us in the UK have to wait for it to be translated into OTHER languages before we can get it. It’s just stupid.

There is still the grammar issue with a lot of words.

Hmm, what an unusual idea Sony has of “search”. It’s like Google never existed.
