SCEE deny chance of a PS3 price cut at Leipzig this week

52If you’re heading to Leipzig to see Sony cut the price of the PS3, “you’ll be disappointed”, says Sony Computer Entertainment spokesman Nick Caplin, speaking to Reuters. “It’s not going to happen,” he confirmed.
Despite Microsoft cutting the price of the 360 over here, it’s clear that Sony does not want to do the same, instead relying on it’s game line-up and feature-rich media capabilities as incentive enough to attract potential new customers.
