2620,000 lucky people from each region will be eligable for the chance to partake in the LittleBigPlanet beta, according to the Japanese PlayStation site.
The applications, which appear to be via a theme download again (like Home in the US and Japan) start today and run through to the 23rd, with the 1GB beta being available for download on the 29th and lasting 2 weeks. 60,000 users will be selected in total (20k from each region) and both the Story mode and Create will be available to play.
