PS3 Fanboy is reporting that not only have more invites for the current Beta gone out this evening, but that a user on the official US PlayStation forums going by the name of TedTheDog has hinted that bugfixes for the current version will be fixed with a new Firmware. ”2.5 is what we’re waiting for” says TedTheDog, “October is what I’ve heard, later October is my guess”.
Guess away, young soldier, guess away. Will the full roll-out of Home 1.00 be next month, alongside yet another Firmware update? Only Ted (and his dog) know the answer.

The day is finally drawing close, although I’m reading reports that the video streaming features will be dropped from the open beta, and they’re not sure if it will be added back in
(A feature where you can go to a friends apartment/space and watch their ‘TV’ which will stream the video contents of their HDD to you)
Perhaps it’s just pushing the boundary to far for copyright/filesharing laws

Invites are for the US only, i’m afraid.
Also, if we don’t get an official announcement for home soon, i doubt it’ll be october. Sony are unlikely to subtly drop the update in with home, they’ll be shouting it everywhere and anywhere – it’s the ps3’s biggest project.

you guys are a great site but please dont post stuff that is saying when home comes out. i am in the beta and in the forums he did say something that maybe might be a hint but it is probably not true and all you are doing is getting peoples hopes up then when everyone is not let into home by october then everyone will get mad at sony and say that they said it would be out. When they never did, just people read to much into what they say. please take this topic off your site, thanks

that is true, and ya i and many others have told them to stop spreading rumors about when home comes out. It just hurts sony and gets everyone mad. Thanks for reasponding
