Thanks to CC_Star in our forums for highlighting this.  Seems like Eidos have announced an agreement with Microsoft to release two complete new chapters for the next Tomb Raider game, Underworld, exclusively on the 360.  The two chapters, totalling roughly six hours of gameplay, will be titled ‘Beneath the Ashes’ and ‘Lara’s Shadow’ and take place after the events of Underworld and even introduce new playable characters.

“We are constantly looking at ways to extend our franchises, whilst developing a deeper relationship with our players. The retail release of any videogame is just the start of the player experience, from there it all depends where you want to take the player in terms of ideas and innovation,” said Sean Vesce, of Eidos. “With these additional chapters and the online reach of Xbox LIVE, we are able to deliver exclusive content to millions of gamers worldwide.”

What do you think of this news?  How do you feel about the PS3 version missing out on these extra chapters?
