Just had a press release in from the States. Looks like the XBLA hit Prince of Persia Classic will be released on the PSN this Thursday. The game, which is a direct port of the 360 version, is essentially the original Prince of Persia (same levels, etc) but with 3D graphics, albeit rendered straight on to give the illusion that it’s still 2D. We’re assuming this is a US thing only at this stage, given what we revealed this morning would be hitting the European Store for us, but it’s worth mentioning.

Hopefully the Euro release isn’t to far off as I’ve been looking forward to this, and I’m boring myself moaning about SCEE’s recent lapses after they’ve been pretty on the ball for a couple of months
But something else I’ve not budgeted for, again!

Good call, one of the best games I had on the Amiga. Though I seem to remember needing cheats so might struggle a bit with the new one!

On topic, won’t be buying this. I’m sh*t at (old) games that require talent.
