Store is the new Home
Capcom throw their weight behind PS Store, deride XBL.Published: 11:07, 20/10/2008 by Peter [Colossalblue].
3Capcom are getting their own space on the Playstation Store if Edge is to be believed (and they are). There is even mention of a 3D space within Home but nothing confirmed.
I’m not sure if this is a good idea or a bad idea. I certainly don’t mind the compartmentalising of the Store but I’d rather it wasn’t filled with ”retro” like Mega Man. I also think that there is a danger of certain developers thinking of themselves as “premium” and charging more than they would if they had to compete in the same space as others. I do think it might lead to more content on the store and that can never be a bad thing can it?
Is this just a one-off or will we see other big developers setting up their own stall on Sony’s market?
