Release dates make us happy.  They give us time to save our precious pennies up in anticipation, and ensure we don’t spend all our cash on crap like electricity bills and food.  So, what have Sony got lined up for November?  Well, starting this Friday (yeah, we know it’s October) is the Special TV Edition of Buzz, then next week it’s the double whammy of LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm 2, before a SingStar duo of Volume 3 and the ABBA edition.  Finally, Resistance 2 rounds off the busy month.

Buzz Quiz TV Special Edition – October 31st
LittleBigPlanet – November 5th
MotorStorm Pacific Rift – November 7th
SingStar Volume 3 – November 14th
SingStar ABBA – November 14th
Resistance 2 – November 28th

So, which are you buying, and why?

  1. What happened to Mirror’s Edge, or was I asleep again?

    • This is just Sony published games, Mirror’s Edge is EA.

      • Sees how little I know. Cheers for the clarification.

  2. LBP because it’s joyous and chaotic and gleefully whimsical.

Resistance 2 because I really liked FOM and I think Insomniac are a fantastic dev house so I’m sure the game will be good.

  3. Possibly LBP if i can raise the funds from my ebay sales but just cancelled R2 cause i would prefer to get CoD5

  4. oh joy of joys Singstar ABBA is out the day before my birthday.. but i think ill wait to 28th before i use my birfday moneys!!

  5. LittleBIGPlanet & Resisance 2!!!!

I’d say I’m torn between SingStar Volume 3 and SiingStar ABBA, but that would be a lie. I won’t be buying any of them.

  6. gotta be LBPlop, not gonna get R2 cos i wasn’t that keen on the beta (apart from the coop) and i seem to be mainly buying games for the multiplay and replayability aspect. that and CoD5 is just round the corner and with that and LBP i’m gonna be broke as a banker

  7. Singstar Napalm Death – because if it’s as good as Nine Inch Nails Unplugged then its tops for me.

Other than that – LBP because I’ve pre-ordered it from Gamestation and it’s the only way I can anyone to ring my house.

I’m definitely going for R2 over COD5, not sure why yet, just a feeling.

Singstar 3, it’s contractual in our house. Wife gets Singstar, I get to make ‘happy loving time’. Expensive, but effective.

    • cheaper than diamonds.

      • Good point, well made.

  8. LBP, Motorstorm 2 and Resistance 2 is all i need! :)

    • me too!

  9. Go LBP!!

  10. Little Big Planet and Resistance 2.

I already have Little Big Planet…. and the game is amazing! It’s the most fun I have had with a game in ages. :)

Resistance 2 – I have the beta version of the game, and it’s fantastic. I was a fan of Fall of Man, but the sequel raises the bar for the franchise. Between the Story, Co-Op, and competitive portions the game will have loads of content to play.

Between the two titles above, I will be in gamming bliss for some time.

  11. Little Big Planet for me. Should keep me busy for ages.

  12. LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2. I want SARPBC too!

  13. you know i’m tempted to import.
just because scee dont deserve a single penny of my money.
and you know the us will get more content for these titles and they’ll get everything first.

it’s a good job the ps3 is reliable because right now as a european gamer i have to say that is the only thing they have over the 360 in europe, especially the cackhanded way they run things

  14. Little Big Planet, goes without saying, and i am also getting motorstorm 2, absolutely loved the first one, and i know i will love Pacific Rift.

  15. LBP, resistance 2 and maybe cod5 if i can afford it
