0.5% Of LBP Levels Modded [47]

Everyone knows the Japanese are the best at everything, and now everything includes LittleBigPlanet. Sure, you might have seen a few decent LBP levels around the web recently, but this is spectacular.  Recreating the entire first level of Gradius (complete with boss), RRR30000 has cemented himself as the finest LBP level creator we’ve seen so far.

Utterly stunning, have a cookie on us.  We can’t wait to see what’s coming after another couple of weeks if this is what people can create in just a few days.

  1. With some of these levels I feel its like a magic trick. You might be better not knowing how it was done to keep the awe. I read another comment thread which reveals partly how this was done and I wish I hadn’t read it.

Still an amazing implementation of the tools though! :)

    • Where? I can’t find one

  2. This looks immense, i really cant wait till LBPlop comes out tomorrow. it’s gonna well and truely steal my life.

  3. bloody nora!….

  4. WOW. So is it actually due for release tomorrow? Not Friday?

    • hmmmm
It’s already shipped if your brought it online, if not I still think it’s Friday for retail stores, with a slim chance of it being Wednesday.

      • I have spoken to my friend who works in HMV and if you live in my town it’s most definatly tomorrow.
        I cant wait.

  5. Someone can do THIS! when I spend hours trying to join 2 bits of material together, to the point of almost giving up!

    • I feel your pain

  6. Yeah that Gradius level is wicked, played it last night on the US version!
Also, the creator has done a Tetris remake, sheer genius i tells you!
    More please!

    :)

  7. Yeah, the Japanese nerds just had to be best at this as well.

  8. When I first saw this my jaw hit the flaw.
I had some vague idea of doing something similar to this using jetpacks attached to a moving object but I could never do something that good.

  9. that is so brilliant! :O

  10. Wow, that only took 5 minutes to make didn’t it!

  11. Awesome.

  12. Wow.

  13. I wonder how that was done, i know its possible, but… how?

  14. I don’t think I want to know, as Shrui says, keep the awe!

  15. Wow, this level is amazing!! Now I’ve started to think about how this was done and can’t concentrate on my work anymore!
