Today’s chart update is brought to you by the letters L, B, and P, and the number 4.

The chart for PS3 games for the last week shows that LBP is starting to slide away, having dropped two places from last week’s second spot to number four this week. If you look at what’s above it – the mighty Call of Duty, the ever-present NFS yearly update and the latest Lara game (both new entries) – then it’s not as bad as it may seem, but still a shame for what is often seen as the PS3′s great hope.

Elsewhere, Pacific Rift is bearing up well by maintaining its position and holding off Mirror’s Edge. While both Fallout 3 and Quantum of Solace have dropped out of the top ten this week, although keeping their positions relative to each other with Fallout 3 just pipping Bond in 14th position.

Is LBP still selling well and the other games are just having explosive opening weeks? Or is LBP really on the slide and not the game we thought it would be?

Tune in next week to find out.
