Developers can pitch for a chance to win cash and adulation. PSN 36Game anyone?

29£50,000 is a lot of money to some people. For instance I’m sure Woolworths would like to get their hands on it. Well, they should start developing games then shouldn’t they? Timewasters.
Sony are giving 5 prizes of £10,000 pounds to 5 developers who pitch new ideas for prototypes for the PSN. That’s right, pitch an idea, get some cash to build the prototype, if it’s good it gets on the PSN.
Sounds like win-win to me, devs get a chance and some financing, Sony get some good ideas and access to exciting new devs and we get new content for the PSN.
