Need For Speed Canned?

Rumours are abound that that the 14 year old Need For Speed franchise may be coming to an end, as Electric Playground are reporting the so far unofficial news that Electronic Arts may pull the plug on the series.
Need For Speed: Undercover arrived recently to literally average reviews, and reportedly disappointing sales.
Regardless of your opinion of the series, it’s passing could cast a shadow over developers Black Box studios, which isn’t good news.
We’ll let you know as soon as the story is officially confirmed or denied, and until then it remains filed under rumours.
