Eden Getting Patched

The fantastic PixelJunk Eden is getting a patch on the 19th of December, seemingly to make it easier. Hurrah!
This is great news if, like me, you’ve not played it for ages because it was so frustratingly difficult.
Visitors to the official site will be greeted with a typically pretty screen telling them the following results of the patch:
- New continue system when you run out of time.
- A whole new control system to choose from.
- Lots more time to spare.
- Smoother multi-play camera.
So there you go, easier trophies on a lovely little game. All just in time for those hangovers I’m planning…

I found the game really difficult, and it hampered my enjoyment of something different.

Great news. Eden was great, but tough. Not sure who Dylan uses as playtesters but they’re not fat-fingered Brits.

I think I’m of a different view from most, probably because I managed to get all of the trophies. But it’s a bit annoying now that people can get the same ones but easier, it seems to make the effort I put into get 100% not worth quite as much.

50 Spectras & 100% trophies here too, and pretty proud of it. Agreed with you but on the other hand, if this make more people enjoy this game, I’ll be quite happy then, since it’s a masterpiece for that price and I feel happy if more people enjoy this fantastic PixelJunk product.
Anyway, Wipeout HD is still harder for me when trying to get the trophies and so on.

I can understand that this would be mighty annoying for those god-like geniuses that managed to get 100% but I still hope they make it piss-easy so I can score some trophies and enjoy the art-music collaboration when I’m dying with a brandy-induced hangover on Boxing Day.
It also makes me giggle a little that you put the work in and I won’t have to…

That is good news, Im one of those who loved the game, but stopped playing (after Garden 3, IIRC) because it just got too hard..

Got to garden 5 before I broke down in tears. Looking forward to firing this up again.

It wasn’t that it was too hard really, I just found it so boring doing the same levels 5 times. I suppose this update will make me go for 100% again
