PS3 3D, Bitches
Firmware update to come with stupid 3D glasses, apparently. Possibly.Published: 10:33, 19/12/2008 by Staff.
“Spread the word. 3D gaming on console is coming and we license the tech,” said Andrew Oliver CTO of Blitz Games Studios yesterday. The site has apparently received confirmation from Blitz Games Studios that Sony “fully intends to support stereoscopic 3D gaming and Blu-ray 3D on the Playstation 3 in 2009″.
This will require a firmware update to work, and rumours abound that this feature will be exclusive to the PS3. So, that’s why Sony aren’t cutting prices, they’re bringing in the third dimension instead. Thanks to Ghost5 for the tip.
