Demon’s Souls was one of the big PS3 exclusives first mentioned at the Tokyo Games Show last October, it has also been covered a short time ago in the post ‘Under The Radar’.

The votes are now in and counted as top Japanese gaming mags, Famitsu and Dengeki, have carried out the first reviews on this PS3 exclusive, and its… well… to be honest a mixed bag.
Famitsu have scored it at 9, 7, 7, and a 6 giving it a middle of the road total of 29/40, the eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed the total is remarkably similar to the much heralded White Knight Chronicles 28/40, and that went on to be the top selling JRPG of this generation of consoles, and that’s just on Japanese sales alone.
Demon’s Souls fared far better in Dengeki, who gave it 95, 85, 85, and 85.
Details are still thin on the ground about the game, but things should become clearer after its Japanese Feb 5th release, but what I do know is that the Demon’s Souls certainly looks amazing.
