The gloom continues, as news breaks that Disney Interactive Studios looks to make cuts.

Initially, developer Propoganda Studios is reportedly reducing it’s workforce by 70, as it’s hit by the rumoured cancellation of the (not officially announced) Turok 2.

According to Kotaku, a DIS source has said the parent company is also looking to consolidate a few of its studios including Salt Lake City based, Avalanche Software and Fall Line Studios who will also focus more on Wii projects, so these initial job cuts may unfortunately just be the start.

Outside of video games, Disney is reportedly on an ‘efficiency’ drive with job losses at ABC & ESPN, with 200 job losses at the former along with a freeze on the recruitment for 200 vacancies, and 200 more job cuts at ESPN with falling advertising revenues being cited.
