We don’t normally publish TSA’s stats, but we thought some of you might be interested in how we’re doing just now. Naturally we like to keep the important stuff, like the direction we’re heading, to ourselves, but for anyone who’d rather trust us than some bizarre meta-counter like Alexa, and for anyone that’s interested in just how we’re doing compared to their site, perhaps, here’s the truth.
Over the last 30 days, TSA has seen a daily average of 601,000 hits, a daily average of 37,500 page views and a daily readership of just over 10,000 unique readers, with a total of over 400,000 unique readers during the same timespan, which kind of puts the recent magazine ABC figures into perspective. Advertisers, you know where we are.
Our biggest page in terms of hits is the home page, followed by the Trophy list and then the forum, with our First Look at Killzone the most viewed story this month so far. We’ve had 4,500 comments in the last 30 days, which is fantastic so thanks for all your input. And finally, unlike a lot of similiar sites, our biggest percentage of readers is those directly entering the URL or coming via a bookmark rather than coming from other sites like N4G – in fact referring sites make up just 27% of our figures, which is great news.
And now we need to find lots (lots) of money to pay for the bandwidth…
Update: PNG attached of our server-side webstats, the purest form of this info, although the info in the post above was from Google Analytics. Quite a few publishers have access to this already, but if anyone else from a media dept who would like access to this raw data need only ask.
