i absolutely loved this "game". its amazing. it gripped me like nothing else. considering there's no real main character, no real story to speak of and not a whole of lot of action, thats quite a feat. it is possibly the best psn game i've downloaded, and i managed to get sfIIhdRemix.

i highly recommend you all get it!

On my first play though it was amazing, I then played though again exploring every area I could but still found quite a few Trophies missing, so I need to tackle it again, the game takes on a different style when you play it Trophy hunting, and it will probably take me at least 4 or 5 play-throughs to get all the Trophies.
If I compare its 6 quid price tag to that of a Blu-ray movie or a match ticket to the football or a gig ticket or even a Dominoes pizza, I think the length of the game provides ample value for money.

Plus even after a get all the Trophies, it will be sat on my XMB as a bit of a chillout (an anti-killzone if you like)

I loved the game and all, but it doesn't really last long. I mean, once you've completed the game once or twice, it gets a little tedious. I'd say its a few steps short of being perfect, due to its lasting appeal.

Nice review though :)

Amazing, an absolutely incredibly breathtaking experience that nobody should miss out on!

Flower truly encompasses the pinnacle of creativity, exploration and immersion. An awe-inspiring, magical title that brings out beautifully vibrant, realistic visuals and audio of the Playstation 3 to another level!

Amazing, truly amazing! Everyone needs to try this!
There is nothing quite like it on any system thus far!

Thank you thatgamecompany, thank you Sony! :)

I'm probably gonna get my arse kicked for this... but I didn't really like it. I agree, it looks pretty and it's different to any other experience, but I just can't see the appeal! It just looks like an interactive screensaver. I have played through it, twice, for trophies and can only come up with " Well it *looks* good"

Thankfully for you guys, I'm not the one reviewing.

Just finished this. For such a short game I was totally mesmerised.

I like the addition of the simple puzzle stuff (like collecting the yellow flowers to switch on the fans) but it'll be interesting to see how (if) they update it (as Flow was).

I'd like to see things like time-based puzzles, use of water (slow down/obstruct the petals' movement and/or carry the petals to new places) and more use of the painting of patterns in the fields to invoke weather (sunshine/thunder and lightning etc) or whip up things like dust devils, rain and the like. Kind of like Okami, Boy, I miss Okami.

Although Flower's gameplay is simple (and effective) it could be accused of being a little samey. But... I still think its totally mesmerising. It hints at something much, much bigger. Something I'd most certainly pay more money for.

So much to say about this game!!

First, groundbreaking. Never played something like that. It's not quite a game, even if it's as enjoyable, not quite a painting, even if it's as colourful, not quite a poem, even if it's as moving. It stands on its on ground, without competition.

Second, emotional. It's not ofter you feel such delight in a game, watching the dawn in a flower field, thinking that you took part of that beauty. Also, each time you blossom a flower, the little tone that emerge just somehow melt trough the music, like your a breeze of music orchestring thousands of little instruments. You feel involved in make this world a better place!

And last but least, exclusive to PS3!!
