My, my. As the date draws near, with some of us awaiting on the postman within the next few days, our excitement for Sony’s big hitter so far just continues to rise. We all know how beautiful it is, some of us know how good it plays, it is undeniably, immensely powerful.

It seems that it was so powerful that Amsterdam’s power supply just couldn’t cope. As the game’s production entered the finishing stages, developers Guerrilla saw their team grow from 45 employees to almost 200. Unfortunately, all the extra power needed for all the extra computers was too much for their block in the Dutch capital. Luckily, Sony forked out on a diesel generator, allowing Guerrilla to work on their powerhouse in glorious light and ensure that it would reach our shelves this week.
