45EA has announced that Need For Speed: Shift is aiming for a September 17th release in Europe and the 22nd in America. Yes, Europe…. earlier. Go on, read it again, I’ll wait.
Need For Speed has been hankering for a makover for quite some time and in tune with EA’s new philosophy they seem to be addressing a whole load of problems with several of their franchises, including the Fast and Furious wannabe. They don’t seem to be doing things by half either. We’re not just talking about a new race mechanic or a new way to look at your cars in the garage, we’re talking about a full re-invention of the franchise Madonna stylee.
