Uh no I choose to get the console that was available when I wanted to buy a console. Most 360 gamers I know purchased it before the PS3 was released. And why don’t we deserve it? What does that even mean?

I dont think MGS4 should be released on xbox360 but to be honest i would’nt mind as much so long as konami released a patch for trophy support…i think they give you more of an insentive to play the games.Stuff the 360 version, it will have bad/rough textures anyway, i have had one (before it died of rrod) and most games (burnout paradise, tomb raider, prince of persia)etc all look better on ps3 / better smoother anti alaising (sorry may have spelt that wrong)…Just give us a trophy patch Konami.

Xbox doesn’t deserve it. If they want the best gaming story ever devised then buy the superior console and get the greatest game ever made. Most other games in the series were bought buy Playstation gamers so why should Xbox gamers get it. They chose to by the cheaper console so they should be stuck with the cheaper games and leave the storyline, musical and gameplay masterpiece that is Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots to us, the people who have followed the story for the past 10 years

If they do get it then its just another example of how sony screws us over continously

I don’t understand where the MGS should only be for PS comes from…
Sure they’ve featured heavily on all the consoles and no doubt been system sellers, but the series has appeared on Nintendo and PC in the past.

Just to let you know, I tracked down the twitter account of the journalist who was shown the game and wrote the article. I asked him if the game he saw had been announced and he replied, “Nope!”.

Maybe we should be optimistic about this!

Also … compressing can be better as it can be read off the disk faster (since is smaller). A console can decompress information faster than it can read it off a disk.

I thought that the cut scenes, although lengthy, were extremely interesting and very emotional. I don’t know why anybody would whine about them, there was an option to skip them. It seemed more like an experience than just a game. Anyways, I suppose we’re all entitled to our own opinions.
