Remember when games were announced at big shows, like, er, E3? Well, Activision clearly want to buck the trend, and if they actually have anything left to show in Los Angeles we’ll be very surprised. Spike TV Episode 212, set to air this Thursday at 12.30 over the pond according to this promo, will feature the World’s first look at the new Tony Hawk game.
I’m a massive, massive fan of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, so this is great news for me after the wonderful Project 8 and the less than stellar Proving Grounds, so I’m personally hoping Hawk X, or whatever they end up calling it, will go back to its roots and just give us a nice collection of classic skating locations without all the fluff of a ‘story’.
