Sony Says “No” To New PS3 Design

43We’re not sure why anyone would want a new PS3 design, the thing’s gorgeous. Well, it’s not, it’s a bit big, and heavy, and picks up fingerprints quicker than a forensic scientist, but you know what we mean. There’s been lots of rumours floating around recently about Sony’s plans to announce tweaks to the design of the PlayStation 3 at E3 2009, rumours which Sony today have shot down. “We currently don’t have any plans for a redesigned PS3,” said a rep for Sony this morning to CVG.
A new PSP is a possibility, mind, although we’re fairly sure that won’t be happening either. Ah, E3 time: brings out the best in everyone.
