Here at TheSixthAxis we’re always striving to improve upon what we’ve built. The site has grown massively in the year since I’ve been visiting and we have a core of dedicated staff members that do everything they can to bring you the best, intelligent, grown-up opinion and discussion. Add to that the fact that our community is undoubtedly the most accepting and welcoming on a site of this nature and we think we’ve got a winning formula.
In recent weeks our community team have stepped things up a gear to bring you a number of exciting new features and events. I’m even told that there are competitions in the pipeline. Our podcast got a recent “reboot” and is going to be something that becomes a more regular and integral part of the TSA experience.
With this in mind – and with the knowledge that our community demands and deserves the very best we can offer – we decided to advertise for a few new writers. We wanted young blood, people who would bring enthusiasm and talent and put it to good use writing about the world of Playstation 3. We got lots of responses and spent a great deal of time sorting through them and deliberating.
The result of all of this is that we can now proudly introduce our four new writers.
A couple of the guys have already started getting stories up as drafts which will be appearing very soon so you will have the opportunity to sample their talents for yourself. We hope that this increase to the size of the team will mean that we can maintain our community expansion and still cover all of the most important news that our readership demands.
As I said the standard of applications was very high but we felt that taking in more than four new writers at one time would be difficult to facilitate. To those that were not successful this time I would like to say thank you for your application, we will keep it on file and hopefully there will be an opportunity again in the future.
Now, let’s make them all feel welcome shall we? Who brought the biscuits?
