Killzone 2 Clan Recruitment Drive

As Community Manager and a Killzone Clan captain, there are certain privileges that make the job that much more fun.  Organising events and leading a superb team into battle is such a fun and rewarding experience.

One of the things I admire the TSA Killzone clan for is its determination to win, yet not at the cost of having fun.  I have never played a game where people come together, hell bent on killing each other, yet laughing and cheering all the way.

Boot camps provide just that; an atmosphere where every member is determined to inflict pain on all opponents. Yet both shooter and victim are chucking friendly and funny comments at each other whilst keeping pressure on those wounds, or spitting lead at the guy who sent their body parts to four different postcodes with that C4.

However, recently, I have been forced to make a decision that I knew would need to be made one day.  Our clan has many TSA members looking to sign up, and with all the tournaments on the go, together with our two new officers taking us to bigger wars, we need new dedicated blood.

So I am both sorry and sad to announce I have “filtered” the TSA Killzone clan.  I looked at attendance to boot camps and participation in the forums, and then let a few members go.  Any member that has been removed has the chance to gain another place should they decide they wish to attend boot camp again.  However, the spaces have been made available for other TSA members to be a part of the TSAN war machine.

The good news?  Well there are now many places available for any TSA member wanting to enter these tournaments with us.  Do you want to be part of a team that values humour and fun as much as skill and success?  Do you want to go to sleep at night knowing you just nailed another clan and have fought and won for your favourite website?  Then head over to the Killzone forums and put your name down in the “sign me up for war” thread.

I will host a boot camp this Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm (GMT), it is open to all TSA members who wish to be considered for the clan.  You will meet other clan members, be made part of a squad, and you will be put to the test.  You shall be observed, and notes will be taken, but most of all – you will have fun.
