Think you’re good at gaming? Think you’re good enough to beat the best that TSA has to offer (earlier today five of you were) but this time Fruit’s back, and as it turns out I’m not to shabby at this weeks challenge.
First it was the turn of LittleBigPlanet, next up was Burnout Paradise and now it’s time for a bit of ZEN Pinball or more precisely the demo, why? because it’s free and that means as many people as possible can join in, also if you’re like me you may find you like the demo so much that you want the full game, you could even be lucky enough to win a full copy of the game here. The demo went live in yesterday’s PSN Store update, so there is no excuse not to have a go.
Again TSA points will be awarded to the top 3 individuals who can beat the best that TSA has to offer. 100 for 1st place, 75 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 10pts to everyone who sends me a valid entry.
The Challenge.
This week your challenge is to beat TSA’s ‘Best One Minute Score’ on the El Dorado table featured in the ZEN Pinball demo. In the event of a tied score then the highest ‘Score Speed’ will be the decider.
The Rules.
You need to email a photo to me (chris@thesixthaxis.com) of your score before midday Thursday 21st May, please click on the email link or ensure you have ‘Challenge TSA’ in the subject line, the winners will be announced on Friday 22nd, and a new challenge will go live. All entrants must be registered members of TheSixthAxis, state their TSA username, and the photo must clearly show your score, and the El Dorado table in the background, illegible entries may be void.
I’ve included a photo below of what we’re looking for, and remember it is the ‘Best One Minute’ score we’re interested in along with the score/sec as a tie break, not the total high score which can be maxxed out on the demo.
Burning Tommy by The Who to your PS3 HDD and setting it as the custom soundtrack is purely optional (even the demo supports it), but it helps.
Update.
Apologies for the late update today, I was taking a delivery of four rescued cows and had to finish off some fencing I should have finished weeks ago (damn Warhawk addiction!). Anyway as usual here are the TSA team’s efforts so far, and as always the cut off time for entries is midday Thursday. Remember there are 10 points for every valid entry and up to 100 points for anyone who can beat our best score.
1st – Liam – x,xxx,xxx (Again!)
2nd Peter – 1,800,000
3rd Chris – 1,331,000
4th Greg – 1,103,000
Below is a pic of what we’re looking for and the reason(s) for the late post, I blame the one at the back!
