Again, over the past week we have received loads of entries to our new regular ‘Challenge TSA’ feature, this week it was the turn of the ZEN Pinball demo, and the challenge was to get the ‘Best One Minute Score’, and to beat the best that TSA has to offer.
The rewards for doing so were TSA points to the top 3 individuals who can beat our high score. 100 for 1st place, 75 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 10pts to everyone who sends in a valid entry.
The ZEN Pinball demo challenge is the third in the Challenge TSA series, following on from LittleBigPlanet and Burnout Paradise. The TSA team wiped the floor with all challengers in LittleBigPlanet, but we weren’t so fortunate in the Burnout Paradise challenge, so how did we fare this week?
Before we get to the results though, as mentioned in the original post, the demo was limited to a maximum score of 2,500,000 which meant we had to introduce a tie-breaker of ‘Score Speed’. There was also a problem if you reached the score limit inside the minute, as the demo never counted the ‘chain’ of scores which pushes you over the limit leading to some problems in the judges corner.
Two challengers actually smashed the demo, their scoring rate was so high that the part of their score which failed to register in the ‘Best One Minute’ substantially effected their total, and as such their Best One Minute score wasn’t as high as some others.
So an ultra special mention, appropriate TSA points, and if I’m honest a moral victory to:
Kai – 2,154,000 – 148,221/sec (17 seconds to rack up the 2,500,000 total. Wow!)
Manorhowze – 2,307,000 – 105,485/sec
The Best One Minute scores sent in however were:
1st – Zuler – 2,499,001 – 34,915/sec
2nd – oMega-W – 2,499,000 – 58,616/sec
3rd- Gazo69 – 2,499,000 – 42,893/sec
4th- pOOpInFlames – 2,499,000 – 22,806/sec
TSA’s finest was Liam with 2,254,000
The whole TSA team were well and truly beaten again, so we’re going to have to carefully select which title features in Challenge TSA #4 which will be going live later. A big thank you to everyone who entered, TSA points are in the post and will be with your sometime over the weekend.
