Crysis 2 Set For PS3

EA sign up the good stuff, console version confirmed.

15EA has just confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with Crytek to publish the forthcoming Crysis 2 on both PS3 and Xbox 360. Despite our earlier story regarding the CryEngine 3 tech, this is the first proper confirmation that the PS3 will actually get a first hand Crytek game.
“The development of Crysis 2 marks a major stepping stone for our studio,” said Crytek CEO and president Cevat Yerli. “This is not only the next game in the Crysis franchise, it’s the first title we are developing for consoles and the first title being built on CryENGINE 3.”
Hopefully we’ll get some screens soon.
