Red Faction Competition

It is not long after our review of Red Faction Guerrilla and Mars is already full of TSA members blowing the crap out of everything and everyone. More and more members are feeling the pain as the sledgehammers are swung their way and cooling towers are dropped right on top of anyone foolish enough to hang in the same place for too long.

The multiplayer action is fast and TSA’s finest gunslingers and demolition experts are being put through their paces. This game separates the team players from the lonewolves too, as I have often witnessed the teams objectives ignored as a member or two go AWOL just to demolish a bridge, and why the hell not hey?.

Well here at TSA we don’t encourage mindless violence and needless destruction. Yeah, right! Your favourite website is looking to take a few of you on a trip in the TSA tour bus to Mars. Here we shall let you off the chains and throw some petrol on the fires of anarchy. You will fight to the death for real prizes and those precious TSA points. Yeah you heard that right – not only will you be able to go manic and destroy everything, but you can win points and prizes for it too.

As much as we would like to cater for all of you, our tour bus has only sixteen seats, and five of those are taken with stacks of coffee and jammy dodgers. This leaves just ten seats for our members and one seat for me (the ref), but will ensure a lag free game is played.

So here is the deal; all interested members should send an email (stating their desire to participate) to liam(at)thesixthaxis(dot)com before midnight Saturday the 13th June. I will select ten members at random to participate in a Red Faction Guerrilla anarchy multiplayer match at 8.30pm (BST) on Monday the 15th of June, where you will play for the following prizes:

1st Place – 500 TSA points, a Red Faction Walker model and issue one of the Red Faction comic.

2nd Place – 250 TSA points and a Red Faction Walker model.

3rd Place – 100 TSA Points and a Red Faction Walker model.

Runners up will receive 20 TSA points for being a good sport.

Terms and conditions: I alone will select (at random) ten members to participate in this event. Competition and event open to UK residents only. My decision is final and only applications via email are acceptable, selected applicants will be notified via email no later than midday Sunday. Selected participants must be TSA members and be available to play the match on Monday the 15th June at 8.30pm (BST), any drop outs will forfeit their position and any entitlement to a prize. There is no real tour bus and you are not really going to Mars.
