Tonight Mars played host to five war hungry miners as the TSA Red Faction competition went underway. Hammers were swung, rhino packs charged forward into unfortunate foes, and many rockets were let loose with cold intent to destroy everything.
The anarchy (death-match) event took place on the Sandpit map, and the five warriors started with only pistols. They would need to battle their way through the war zone to secure better weapons and equipment. The objective was simple; obtain the most kills in ten minutes to be victorious, every second was to count.
So who takes home the 500 TSA points, the Red Faction Guerrilla walker model and issue one of the comic illustrating this fantastic title? Well that would be Tomjakes, taking it to the other contestants with 27 kills and just 12 deaths. TomJakes displayed a fantastic show of skill and determination, and seemed ice cool with all the pain he dealt out. Well done, and congratulations.
Person678 finished a respectful second place with 13 kills to 14 deaths. His usual squeaky voice was deployed, but the enemy was not to be confused. Person takes home 250 TSA points and a walker model, well done to you sir.
Hannes_Truce and Gastos84 tied in the event, and went on to a deciding match between the two. Both soldiers started by deploying (solid) stealth tactics, it was almost like watching a game of MGS online. But then the silence broke and rockets started to fly, seeing Gastos84 secure third place, and head home with 100 TSA points and a walker model.
Matty1209 seemed confused in the match as he seemed to be running wild in search of a bridge to destroy. Still, he dealt out death on no less than 8 occasions, but sadly his own deaths were double what he dished out.
With hannes_truce in 4th and Matty1209 finishing 5th, they both go home with 20 TSA points for being great sports.
Well done to everyone who played, it was a very exciting match, and we hope you enjoyed participating. We at TSA look forward to seeing you around in future competitions, and mark my words – there will be many more.
