It’s now week 7 in our regular ‘Challenge TSA’ feature and as always, the team here at TSA Towers want to take you on and challenge you to beat us at a game, this week it’s the turn of the GTI Club+ Demo. This is a pretty solid, fast racer which I have fond memories of from the arcades, re-playing the demo to see if was suitable for a challenge was great fun.
The Challenge.
This week the challenge is to record ‘the fastest race time’ Simples. On the demo there is only one track, one car and one difficulty, so all you need to decide is automatic or manual transmission, and knowing a shortcut may be key to shaving a couple of hundredths off your time.
The Rules.
You need to email a photo to me (chris@thesixthaxis.com) of the ‘Total Time’ Your entry must include the following:
+ Only one entry will be counted per person. (One re-entry will be allowed to those who entered before this post was was updated with the enhanced prize)
+ Includes photo clearly showing your total time (like the example below).
+ Email must include your TSA username.
+ Email must have Challenge TSA in the subject line.
+ Deadline for entries has now changed to midnight Thursday 18th June, results will be live on the Friday.
+ It would help if your email included the total time as well as attaching the photo.
The Rewards.
Thanks to Konami… well their lovely PR company we have a voucher for a full copy of the game up for grabs to top entrant, so get your furry dice out, put the keys in the inignition and start shaving vital seconds off your race time.
As usual TSA points will be awarded to the top 3 individuals who can beat the high score of the top TSA team member. 100 for 1st place, 75 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 10pts to everyone who sends me a valid entry. Remember this challenge is a demo so there are no barriers to entry, and every single valid entry wins TSA points.
You check out what TSA thought of GTI Club+ in the full review, and check out the recent additions in the newly announced DLC. If you don’t already have the demo it can easily be found in the store’s A to Z section or by using the PSN Store search feature.
Update.
It’s Wednesday afternoon so it’s time to check in on the team at TSA’s scores on the doors so far:
1st. FruitOfDoom – x:xx:xxx (Shhh it’s a secret)
2nd. Watchful – 2:12:526
3rd. Nofi – 2:14:676
4th. cc_star – 2:16:876
5th. Pixl1983 – 2:18:692
6th. ColossalBlue – 2:22:100 (Doing some sterling work supporting us all)
The photo below is an example of what we’re looking for, I recorded that time on my second go and will now spend the rest of the week trying to shave a few seconds off. This time you can actually win the game and don’t forget TSA points are on offer just for entering, so there’s no excuse.
