Chris is having a fire sale, literally, so I’ve taken over this particular set of Challenge results.  No mean feat considering the TSA Towers PC is currently in pieces getting Windows reinstalled – still, there’s always the Mac and at least that means the damned thing won’t take an hour to load Firefox.  So, without further ado, here are the results of this week’s TSA Challenge: you’ll remember that we tasked you with chucking an old Golf GTI around the Monaco-themed track in the demo of GTi+ Club, and you entered in your droves.

At one point I was winning – I really was.  When the challenge went live I had my time down to just over 2.13 and was well chuffed, but then Liam turned up and as you can see, his time of 2.06 is not only absolutely astounding but is also the top, meaning that – yes – we’ve beat you.  Hats off to Kamikaze-UK, ManeoriX and spooferbarnabas, mind, as their times are all better than mine, but our Fruit is a dedicated, hardcore driver and we’re glad he’s on our side, even though I did try to give him a bit of a kicking earlier in the week.

1st. FRUITofDOOM – 02:06:076 (GTI freak)
2nd. KAMIKAZE-UK – 02:08:792 (100 TSA points and a voucher for the full game)
3rd. ManeoriX – 2:09:309 (75 TSA points)
4th. spooferbarnabas – 2.10.776 (50 TSA points)

So, whilst Fruit wins, technically, the winning reader was Kamikaze-UK who wins not only 100 coveted TSA Points, but also a voucher code for the full game, which we’ll email across this weekend so you can enjoy the treats of the medium and hard tracks, along with the utterly brilliant multiplayer modes like Bomb Tag – congratulations.  Thanks to everyone that entered, you’ll all get the consolation TSA Points just for entering as soon as Liam wakes up from a catnip induced slumber.  And who knows, maybe next time you’ll beat him…
