Gran Turismo 5 Delayed Again To “Autumn”

Cars are great right? They make lots of noise, go really fast and can improve your sex appeal by at least 20%. Last March our PS3s got that 20% with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and today, London got the same treatment.
Gran Turismo took realism to the next level this morning when it literally came to life as the GTbyCITROËN, a concept supercar previously only existing in the game, was let loose in Central London. Done partly as a way of recreating the much loved Prologue track and also to generate some more excitement for the full game which should be arriving at the end of the year.
“The result of a unique partnership between Citroën and Polyphony, the GTbyCITROËN concept measures nearly five metres long (4.96m) and just over a metre high (1.09m) with an impressive supercar design sporting wide air intakes, rear air-diffuser, horizontal LED headlamps, gull wing doors and diamond-effect 21inch aluminium wheels. Inside the cabin offers a refined racing experience with copper, steel and black leather finishes combined with hi-tech racing controls.” says the press release.

i put this in the forums earlier on lol. it looks utterly amazing, although in the game, its not the best thing to drive….

Shots 3 & 4 are shots, hopefully not pre-rendered. If that is in-game graphics, that is bloody beautiful. It almost looks like the real life shots. Not usually a fan of racing games in general but it looks stunning. Might have to try it out sometime when it is released.

i love the contrast in these shots though. the old architecture and then there is this futuristic looking car right there. like “Back to the Future”.

That thing is awesome. Am I the only one who thought while driving it in prologue that from the internal view it looked like some sort of spaceship and looked like it should have laser guns attached?

Wow, that car looks so cool. I didn’t realise it was in GT5P.
Was it a downloadable car? I don’t remember seeing it in the game and I can’t check anymore as I got rid of my copy a while ago while it still had some trade-in value, as I knew I wouldn’t play it again once the full version of GT5 came out!!!
