This month’s Game Informer is arriving at subscribers doors and within it lie some colourful new Max Payne 3 screens. If you don’t have a subscription to Game Informer don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Details on the game described destructible environments, a story set 12 years after the events of Max Payne 2 and a cover system which will not be the main focus of the game. Standard shooter? Well it all looks very Uncharted below, but one feature which could stand out is Max’s addiction to pain killers. How these will effect gameplay is purely down to speculation so whether it will further spice up the already edgy bullet time or just leave you with a shaky aim is left to be seen but until Autumn, enjoy the screens.

Wow. Next-gen Max. What a difference. I loved the first two. Can’t wait for this.

I love the Max Payne series, I just hope they do this one justice.. They’re one of the few games I played through multiple times, and there wasnt even a trophy as incentive.

Hope the people who made the movie had nothing to do with it!

Loved these games, next gen looks good but it does look like uncharted, which isn’t a bad thing but could be a bit weird.

Hoping for good things from this, but I’m not particularly bothered about its ties to the previous games, as I found Max Payne 2 quite boring.
I just hope it’s good, as the developers are making this instead of Bully 2

This reminds me more of RE5 than uncharted.

Was he always that overweight? Seems a bit pudgy in some of those shots.

He’s getting old, it’s what happens.
Unless you happen to Snake, in which case you manage to keep buns of steel ever though you’re aged sixty.

Doesn’t look or feel like Max Payne. They were always dark, brutal and extremely violent. That looks like a cross between Die Hard 4 and Uncharted
