I saw 2 copies of SOTC in game pre-wned a few months ago. Both of them were going for £10. Never bought it though, still haven’t played any ICO games. Hopefully i can borrow it off a mate sometime.

Hmm, rewatching that trailer, not sure about the “black feathers” tweet. The creature is two-tone, both light and dark grey. The supposed “black” feathers (can’t make them out on that scan) could just be the dark grey ones…
Happy to be proved wrong though.

It is still unknown if the storyline of The Last Guardian will be related to the first two titles, though from what has been released so far it doesn’t look like prior knowledge will be necessary. Plus Shadow of the Colossus is a prequel to Ico, so i’m not sure where The Last Guardian would fit into the timeline.

I got ico for £12 from CEX a few years ago (the re-release version), and Shadow of the Colossus for £8 from game about the same time. Shadow was missing the art cards but I bought those seperately from ebay!

Also picked up three copies of We Love Katamari as well at £9 each!

On Ebay you can usually get ICO for around £25, I’ve been keeping an eye on it. I’d imagine they’re in good condition too as the owners know they’re special. I’ve also seen SOC and ICO together for £55.

In an interview with Ueda he said something about how you have to maintain your relationship with the creature and that you could be friendly by pulling some of those spears and arrows out of it.

He also mentioned that the relationship aspect should not become a chore or a nuissance, so they should be aware of that potential disaster – GTA IV I’m looking at you.

Does anyone know if I would have had to play the previous Team Ico games to understand this, If so i might see if i can pick them up for cheap somewhere
This game looks amazing and I don’t want to miss out on the story because I don’t understand the history
