In our quest for world domination, TSA now includes a community calendar. This will ensure that you the reader will never forget our birthdays, and provide evidence that we never take a holiday. But seriously, this calendar is a great tool for our wonderful community. The community calendar will play host to dates and information such as: community events; game releases; gaming events; mysterious announcements (rumoured or confirmed) to be made; coffee delivery dates. The calendar is located to the right of the page just under the box titles “hot stories”, unless you’ve been moving the boxes around.
We are very excited to bring this tool to the site and deem it a valuable asset for keeping the community knitted together and engaged in the wonderful events / competitions we have to offer. Whilst we still encourage you making notes of competition dates and times, the community calendar will obviously be available for those unsure and looking for solid info and confirmation.
As regards the game release dates, we shall try our damn hardest to bring you the most up-to-date release information, but please bare in mind that dates are subject to change. We recommend frequent use of this tool as we may have secret events to test your browsing skills. This together with major plans for more events and competitions is a great step for us all, and we remain confident that TSA should be the only site you need to visit for all your Playstation news, reviews and community action.
We are looking into regular weekly even daily events such as the Killzone 2 boot camps and tournaments, and we would like your feedback on this. The boot camps have been a great success in getting members together to enjoy the game with people you expect to be mature and enthusiastic. Whilst there is still a lot of humor thrown in, members remain sensible and the humor is mature and not childish or distasteful. Boot camps are still running and are a great way to experience Killzone 2 in multiplayer. However, having gained valuable experience from boot camp, we are looking to sprinkle some TSA magic over other current, past and future titles to cater for all members and the varied gaming genres.
Please feel free to comment with suggestions on what games you would like to see get more community support from TSA. Such games as Metal Gear Online, Red Faction, Motorstorm, GTA4 and H.A.W.X are examples of games that can cater for many. Your feedback is appreciated and all comments will be read and taken into consideration. I would also like to mention just how hard Nofi has worked to get the site looking as good as it is, and still find the time to add these wonderful features, the guy is a legend.
