The last two competitions touched with TSA magic have seen guns, blood, destruction and death. With the King of Killzone tournament running, and the Red Faction Guerrilla competition behind us, it is time to give you yet another opportunity to secure a nice pay out of those lovely TSA points.
We want to keep blood, destruction and at least potential death in this one, but the guns need to go back for cleaning, and you are going on without them to get dirty!
On Monday the 29th at 8pm BST (British Summer Time) I am hosting a competition within Evolution Studios’ epic racer Motorstorm Pacific Rift. There are eleven spaces available, and this time I am in the competition too. As racer number twelve, I shall be aiming to beat the pack and take the win, hopefully burying many of you in the mud or sending you off a cliff.
The aim of this one is simple: you are going for gold and crossing the line first. But there is a very exciting twist that will spice up the competition. I shall be driving a big rig, with my primary objective to win, but a secondary objective to prevent all you other racers finishing the race in a pre-determined combined time.
There are points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as points for runners up. But bonus points are offered to everyone should your combined time be equal to or less than the time pre-determined. Do you play greedy and go for first? Or do you work together to prevent me picking on the pack and hampering your chances of those bonus points?
The TSA Points up for grabs are: 1st place for 250 points; 2nd place for 200 points; 3rd place for 150 points; Runners up get 20 points; Bonus 100 points in addition to all other points.
To enter you must send me an email stating your TSA and PSN ID, and a brief paragraph stating which fictional character you feel would make a good Motorstorm racer and why? It can be anyone from Ghost Rider to Bumble Bee, or Superman to Barbie girl. All entrances are to be sent to liam(at)thesixthaxis(dot)com, and the closing date is midnight Saturday the 27th June. I will select entries at random and my decision is final. TSA accepts no liability for any clothes and / or vehicles damaged or dirty as a result of this event. Those selected to participate will be announced on Sunday the 28th, where the track and further details shall be revealed.

The deadline has come and gone, and the names are in for the competition. The members getting dirty are: tomjakes; rht992; Royanaldo; Colmshan1990; maneoriX; elpabl79.
There were only six entries, and the six will need to decide on going for glory, or working together for a nice wealthy bonus.
The track will be Paradise Beach and it will see you complete three laps whilst trying to avoid me in my big rig. The six of you are aiming for a combined time of 25 minutes for the bonus 100 TSA points, there is little room for error.
I shall be sending out the invites at 7.50pm (British Summer Time) and the race begins at 8pm with or without you. With less than 24 hours to go – I suggest you get practicing.

I traded MS:PR as it ddnt grab me like the first game. Shame, as this competition sounds fun, especially with the tactical side to it…

When I first got MS:PR I didn’t really get into it. Going back a few months later though it got some serious play. It still sits out by my PS3 so it’s handy for a quick race when I get the urge or have half an hour to work on beating another of the devs time trial times.

I would enter but I’ve banned myself from playing it as it causes me to lose my temper and do things I regret!
As for a fictional character I would have chosen Street Hawk or that Gisela Dulko bird whatever her name is – I was watching her play in Wimbledon yesterday and if she’s luck and plays her cards right I might take her out for a beer.
